PERFUME PLANTS HARVESTER – Clier lavander harvester

             This system is often used in Provence on lavander farms where wide areas of lavandin (hybrid lavander) – 40 to 200ha – are cultivated for distillation.

      From harvesting to distillation, manual work is no longer needed. Once cut off by the cutting parts, the stems are drawn up by rollers, minced by blades and ejected by a turbine into a hopper at the back of a tractor or into a case towed beside the harvester (harvester 1,2,3 rows)

For each tractor, a specific adaptation is necessary. ( when exported it must be done either by the client or by a technician specialized in agriculture equipment.)

90 to 100 horsepower are necessary on the tractor – 2 or 4 wheel drive-

• harvesting capacity: about 3h/ha

• speed: 2 to 5 km/h

• cutting height: minimum 8cm, maximum 65cm

• hopper capacity ref. RPP27: 5.6m

• hopper lifting height: 3.2m

• harvester with chain and fingers with a negative angle and a gradual withdrawing (patented system)

• transmission of the « harvesting head » by a hydraulic station driven by shearing force. It has a three-point hitch at the back when the harvester comes without a hopper;

• the station is adapted on the lifting pole when the harvester comes with a hopper

• the lifting pole ref. RPP23 is bolted onto the back of the tractor.

  For each tractor, an adaptation is necessary.
